The Oculus
Look up through the coffered vault to the open sky. A single shaft of light falls through the oculus, and petals drift down it toward the marble floor.
Chapter IV · Time & Stillness
The Mirrored Basin
Before the rotunda lies the reflecting pool. Its still water holds the dome upside down, and every drifting petal sends a ring across the image.
